Code of Conduct
1. Introduction: Plan-it Technologies (Pty) Ltd. is committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency in all its business operations. This includes recognising and managing potential conflicts of interest.
2. Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to protect the interests of Plan-it Technologies and its clients when a potential conflict of interest arises. This policy provides guidelines for identifying and managing conflicts of interest.
3. Scope: This policy applies to all consulting and technical support services provided by Plan-it Technologies.
4. Policy: Plan-it Technologies acknowledges that a conflict of interest may arise when the company is engaged in a consulting role while simultaneously providing technical support on the same project. To maintain impartiality and objectivity, the following measures are implemented:
4.1 Limited Annual Project Capacity: Plan-it Technologies takes on a limited number of consulting projects each year. This minimises the effects of any such conflict. This also ensures that we can dedicate the necessary time and resources to each client, maintaining the quality and effectiveness of our consulting and support services.
4.2 Notification to Support Customers: Upon undertaking a consulting role, Plan-it Technologies will promptly inform Service Level Agreement (SLA) clients who are bidding on the project that Plan-it Support will not be able to provide support on that specific project. This proactive communication is designed to manage expectations and ensure transparency regarding our limitations during the consulting engagement.
4.3 Resumption of Support Services: Following the completion of a consulting project, Plan-it Technologies will resume providing support services to our client after a period of three months from the project sign-off date. This allows for a comprehensive transition and ensures the continued effectiveness of our services.
5. Commitment: While Plan-it Technologies may not offer technical support on projects where we are consulting, we remain committed to delivering high-quality support services to our clients on other projects.
This policy will not prevent our clients from responding to projects where we are the consultants.
6. Review: This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and effective in managing conflicts of interest.
7. Approval: This policy has been approved and endorsed by the management of Plan-it Technologies (Pty) Ltd.
